We are not a medical provider

ViennaScan is an independent booking and coordination service. We help arrange private radiology appointments and handle the logistics. We do not perform examinations, interpret images, or provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or a second opinion.

No doctor–patient relationship

Using our website or service does not create a doctor–patient relationship with ViennaScan. All clinical services are provided by independent, accredited radiology institutes, and all medical decisions are made by qualified physicians — the institute’s radiologists and your own treating doctors.

Any general information on this website (for example, typical waiting times, scan types or indicative prices) is provided for orientation only and must not be relied on as medical advice. Always consult your own doctor about whether a particular scan is appropriate for you, and follow their guidance and the institute’s instructions.

Referral and suitability

A referral from a qualified doctor is normally required for imaging, and your treating physician is responsible for deciding whether a scan is medically appropriate and safe for you. We do not assess medical suitability.

No outcome guarantee

We do not guarantee any clinical outcome, diagnosis, or the availability of any particular appointment. Your results are produced and interpreted by the independent institute and its radiologists.
